<p>The method involves cutting a material web (4) i.e. fibrous material, by a cutting unit (14), which generates a cutting line (16.2) and another cutting line. Cutting elements (15.1, 15.2) of the cutting device are moved transverse to a rolling direction (R) of the material web, where the cutting lines cut the web in a region of center (M) of the web. Top (18) of the web is formed, and an adhesive medium (25) is directly or indirectly applied between the web and a hub (11) in a region of the top. The top provided with the adhesive medium is transferred on the hub. An independent claim is also included for a winder for winding a material web.</p> |
