A measuring apparatus for a 3-Dimensional automatic eyeglass frame/pattern form with minimized data distortion and a measuring method thereof are provided to minimize a phenomenon that a probe and a glass frame are pushed. A measuring apparatus for a 3-Dimensional automatic eyeglass frame/pattern form with minimized data distortion includes a fixing unit, a stylus part(30), and a control part. The fixing unit is formed on the top of a main body. The fixing unit fixes an eyeglass frame or a pattern. The stylus part is installed at the inside of the fixing unit. The control part controls the fixing unit and the stylus part, and installed at the inside the main body. The stylus part includes a probe part(50), a rotating plate(41), a rotating unit(46), an R-axial direction moving unit, and a two-dimensional shape sensor for measurement. The probe part is rotated in a state that contacted with the eyeglass frame or the pattern.
