<p>A mine detonating apparatus 100 for attachment to a vehicle 102 comprises a body portion comprising a first component 104 and a second component 106, and mounting means for mounting the body portion to the vehicle. A roller 110 is provided for engaging the ground and detonating explosive devices with which comes into contact. The roller 110 comprises an inner hub, an outer rim, and a plurality of spokes of deformable material extending from the hub to the rim. The spokes are adapted to resist buckling as a result of compressive loads less than a respective predetermined level, and to resiliently buckle as a result of compressive loads exceeding said respective predetermined level.</p> |
