PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent developer from deteriorating in a development machine where the developer is made to circulate via a circulation port in at least two carrying parts arranged in the vertical directions via a partition. SOLUTION: This development machine has a developer carrier 11 for carrying the developer D to a developing area opposed to an image carrier, so as to perform development, and at least two 1st and 2nd carrying parts 12 and 13 provided with carrying members 15 and 16 for carrying the developer in the shaft direction of the developer carrier, and the 1st and the 2nd carrying parts are arranged in the vertical directions via the partition 14 having the circulation ports 14a and 14b. Then, the device is provided with a scooping means 20, for scooping the developer guided to the 1st carrying part 12 positioned upper from the 2nd carrying part 13 positioned lower at the part of the circulation port 14b which guides the developer to the 1st carrying part 12 from the 2nd carrying part 13. |
