The cooling element (3) is passed from a medium, and has a sectional guide of a main stream (13a) and an auxiliary stream (15) of the medium. The main stream is separated from the auxiliary stream till a narrow point (18) by a separating unit and mixed with the main stream after the narrow point of the auxiliary stream. The separating unit is arranged in an inclined position with a lower side at a surface of the cooling element facing the component. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an electronic unit with a housing; and (2) a cooling device with a space of a recess.
