<p>Additive mixture comprises a mixture of: at least homo- or copolymer with units derived from at least 1,3-diene, and optionally at least one polar, ethylenically unsaturated comonomer, where the end of the copolymer contains a functional group of carboxyl, amide, hydroxyl, epoxy or amino; and at least one polyvalent metal salts (up to 10 wt.%). Independent claims are included for: (1) preparing impact-resistant epoxy resin, comprising producing the additive mixture by mixing the homo- or copolymer and metal salts at 70[deg] C until a homogeneous mixture is obtained and incorporating the mixture at 80-170[deg] C in the epoxy resin; and (2) the epoxy resin, obtained by the above process.</p> |
