ORGANIC LIGHT-EMITTING DIODES USING A COMMON HOST AND FLAT PANEL DISPLAY DEVICE EMPLOYING THE SAME

An organic light emitting device and a flat panel display device using the same are provided to shorten a tact time by using a common host in a p-doped layer, a light emitting layer, and an n-doped layer. A light emitting layer is formed between a first electrode and a second electrode. A p-doped layer is formed between the first electrode and the light emitting layer. An n-doped layer is formed between the light emitting layer and the second electrode. A buffer layer is formed between the p-doped layer and the light emitting layer, and is formed between the n-doped layer and the light emitting layer. The light emitting layer, the p-doped layer, the n-doped layer, and the buffer layer include the same host material. The host material is an ambipolar material.
