<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stirring performance for toner and magnetic particles by a stirring roller even in the case of the toner having small diameter size. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device comprises a toner storing part 50a in which the supplied toner is temporarily stored; a developer storing part 51a forming the conveying path Y of developer circulating via a developing roller 24a performing development; and a sub-conveying path Z communicating with the conveying path Y again via the toner storing part 50a from the conveying path Y.
