<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable hose for introduction and distribution inflator gas which is capable of suppressing breakage around a gas passing hole of the hose caused by defective development of an airbag, in particular, caused by the flow of high-pressure gas, and suitable for the airbag for side impact. <P>SOLUTION: A woven fabric-made hose is disposed on an airbag device for side impact, and has at least one gas passing hole for distributing inflator gas on actuation of an airbag. The gas passing hole is formed by forming a hole in the hose. In the hose for introduction and distribution of the inflator gas, the total area of independent thread portions surrounded by (1) an edge of the opened gas passing hole and (2) an independent thread of the maximum length among the independent threads remained in the hose so as to be across the edge of the gas passing hole with both ends thereof cut by opening the hole is ≤ 30% of the area of the gas passing hole when the gas passing hole opening part is flat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
