<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective device which dispenses with soldering and screw fastening for wiring connection of a ground potential of a discharge tube provided in a communication protector circuit, and also to provide a communication protector which reduces the man-hour of work for installation of a communication protector and enables the components to be mechanically attached thereto, and consequently dispenses with the wiring connection of the ground potential. <P>SOLUTION: As a mechanical structure for attaching a protector circuit onto a circuit board, lock metals 5, 6 which are formed by being raised up from a bottom plate of a casing, are utilized to mechanically attach a mold component 9 to the bottom plate using snap forces of the lock metals 5, 6. With such work, a ground potential is introduced from the casing which is ordinarily connected to the ground potential, into a circuit on the circuit board via the lock metals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
