An additional service server, a VoIP device, an operation method of a terminal adapter and a device thereof capable of using various additional services are provided to use a service provided in additional service gateway and connect a terminal adaptor. A terminal adaptor device of a user is set up in order to be suitable for communications with a voice over IP(40). A software for using the additional service is set up in a terminal adapter equipment at remote. The user receives an additional service from an additional service gateway by authenticating the user ID by the user.
