An image processing method of a home automation system and an apparatus thereof for reducing additional expense of a hardware facility are provided to sense the operation of a sensing area and a visitor by a door phone of the home automation system and supply a security function. A home automation system(100) includes a door phone(200) and a generation instrument(300). The door phone senses the operation within the set up sensing area. If the operation is sensed, the video information is taken a picture of according to the perception sensitivity or the coiling time. The storage of the video information is requested as the generation instrument of the home automation system. If the generation instrument the storage of the video information is requested from the door phone, the video information is stored. |
