METHOD OF TRANSMITTING PILOT IN MULTIPLE ANTENNA SYSTEM

A method of transmitting pilot in a multiple antenna system is provided to improve channel estimation by independently, individually and adaptively adjusting the transmission power of a pre-coding pilot in each channel. A method of transmitting pilot in a multiple antenna system comprises the steps of: generating a pre-coding matrix including a pre-coding vector to which data stream to be transmitted is applied(S110); performing pre-coding for a pilot by using the pre-coding matrix(S120); and transmitting a pre-coding pilot(S130), wherein the transmission power of the pilot is specifically determined in a data string that is to be transmitted.
