A system for authenticating a part and a method thereof are provided to enable a general driver to easily distinguish whether a car part is original. A user authentication unit(101) performs an authentication process related to the member subscription and log-in procedure of a user. A part information receiving unit(103) receives information about a car part from a part manufacturer, a car manufacturer, a distribution center or a vehicle maintenance company. A database(104) classifies and stores information about a part received from a receiving unit. A maintenance information providing unit(102) searches the database and provides information about whether the car part is original to a user. |
