A control device for an automatic transmission is provided to realize a desired shift gear for hours by solving deterioration effect as time goes. In a control device for an automatic transmission, a rubbing fastening component(1) is a hydraulic multi-disk clutch or a fluid pressure multi-disk brake controlling a fastening action according to the fastening component pressure from the control valve(3) or releasing action in shifting gear. A normal high type linear solenoid valve(2) uses a pilot pressure made by the pilot valve as an original pressure. The normal high type linear solenoid valve generates solenoid pressure of a control valve from an auto transmission control unit(4) according to a solenoid current. The control valve uses the solenoid pressure from the normal high type linear solenoid valve as an operation signal.
