A pipe having housing of optical cable sensor and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to easily set up the optical fiber sensor cable by installing the sensor housing with steel pipe in a single body. A pipe having housing of optical cable sensor is comprised of a steel pipe(10), a sensor housing(20) and a housing cover(25). The sensor housing has a receiving portion(21) in which the optical fiber sensor is accepted inside. The sensor housing is adhered to the outside of the steel pipe to the longitudinal direction of the steel pipe in a long queue. The housing cover is combined in the receiving portion of the sensor housing and the receiving portion is sealed. The cross section of the sensor housing is crescent shape. The receiving portion of the sensor housing has one or more protrusion ribs in the longitudinal direction of the receiving portion. The protrusion rib is comprised to set the location of the optical fiber sensor.
