APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING OVERCHARGE OF LNG FUEL STORAGE TANK

An overcharging prevention device for LNG fuel vessels is provided to light the total weight of the fuel vessels and to reduce production costs without the installation of separate tanks for decrement space. An overcharging prevention device for LNG fuel vessels comprises: a main body(110) where fuel is charged; and a level gauge sensor(130) for sensing the level of fuel filled in the main body. The level gauge sensor is diagonally installed on the circular cross-section of the main body. The level gauge sensor is placed between an LNG lower limit level and an LNG upper limit level. A float(134), which moves along a longitudinal direction of the level gauge sensor according to the LNG levels, is inserted in the level gauge sensor. A terminal is combined with the end of the level gauge sensor in order to generate sensing signals and deliver them to a controller when the float is contacted.
