A steel cord having improved initial adhesive strength and aged adhesion, a manufacturing method thereof, and a tire manufactured thereby are provided to form proper roughness on the surface of a filament, and to improve adhesiveness and corrosion resistance. The roughness of a steel cord is 0.5mum or less. The steel includes a filament forming a film with Hexamethoxymethylmelamine. An adhesive promoter is applied on the surface of the filament by dissolving hexamethoxymethylmelamine in alcohol of carbon number 1~4. The concentration of the liquid dissolved in the alcohol is 0.1 -5 mole(M). A diameter of the filament is 0.2mm - 0.5mm, and tensile strength is 270 - 480kg / mm^2. |
