COLON CANCER DIAGNOSTIC MARKERS USING UP-REGULATED GENES

A marker for diagnosing colon cancer using gene which are specifically overexpressed in colon cancer tissue is provided to used in treating colon cancer and develop an anticancer drug for colon cancer. A composition for diagnosing colon cancer comprises an agent which measures mRNA level or protein level of MMP10, SERPINB5 or CLDN2. A method for providing information for diagnosing colon cancer comprises: a step of measuring expression level of the MMP10, SERPINB5 or CLDN2 gene or protein level from the biological sample isolated from patients of colon cancer; and a step of comparing expression level or protein level of the genes between sample and control group.
