<p>A digital broadcasting system and a data processing method are provided to perform carrier sync recovery, frame sync recovery, and channel equalization by using base data information, thereby improving receiving ability. A signal receiving unit receives a broadcast signal in which at least one of M data groups includes K dummy bytes. A demodulator(302) demodulates the broadcast signal. A block decoder(305) decodes first data by block among the demodulated broadcast signals. A de-multiplexer outputs the block-decoded first data to a corresponding route among a plurality of routes. One or more RS(Reed Solomon) frame decoder corrects an error generated in the first data.</p> |
