A cloth treatment device and a control method are provided to take out the laundry from a drum at once after finishing the washing by inserting a hamper into the drum. A cloth treatment device comprises a cabinet, a drum, and a hamper(200). The cabinet comprises an input hole in which the laundry is put into. The drum is installed in the inside of a tub in order to be rotatable. The drum comprises a lifter and a fixing unit(220). The lifter lifts the laundry. The fixing unit fixes the lifter when the hamper is inserted into the drum. The fixing unit has the shape corresponding with the lifter. The hamper keeps the laundry. The hamper is inserted into and fixed at the drum. The hamper rotates with the drum. A plurality of holes is formed at the circumference of the hamper. |
