An overspeed drop preventing device is provided to prevent a batten from being elevated at overspeed by making a drive motor elevating the batten automatically stop. An overspeed drop preventing device comprises a drive motor(3), a drum(5), a first speed governor(20) and a speeding sensor(30). The drive motor is equipped in a frame(2) of the stage to raise the batten. A rope(4) connected to the button is rolled in the drum. The drum is rotated with the drive motor and is coaxially connected with the first speed governor. The radius of rotation of drum is enlarged in the speeding of the drum. An overspeed sensing part and the first speed governor are engaged in the operation of the first speed governor. The overspeed sensing part outputs a signal to block the power supplied to the drive motor. |
