<p>A variable valve attachable muffler is provided to cut down on the manufacturing cost drastically and to simplify the inner structure of housing because a variable valve is directly installed in the opening of the first baffle. A variable valve attachable muffler comprises a housing(10), an inlet pipe(21), one or more outlet pipes(22), and a variable valve(30). The inside of the housing is partitioned off into first and second muffling chambers(11,12) and a resonator chamber(13) by first and second baffles(17,18). The inlet pipe passes through the first and second baffles. The inlet pipe includes one or more first through-holes(23) and one or more second through-holes(25). One or more first through-holes are formed in the nearby outer circumference with the first muffling chamber. One or more second through-holes are formed in the nearby outer circumference with the second muffling chamber. One or more outlet pipes pass through the first and the second baffles. The outlet pipe ejects the exhaust to the outside. The variable valve is installed in an opening(17a) of the first baffle to open and close it according to the exhaust pressure.</p> |
