An upward search system of a client and a method thereof searching the contents of a text message are provided to search the content of text messages which is transmitted to an SMS(Short Message Server) system. A receiver(10) receives a text message which a client transmits and transmits the text message to a data processing unit(11). The data processing unit processes the contents of the text message and transmits the text message to a searcher(12). The searcher detects the text message in which the reciprocity similarity is the highest. A transmission unit(13) transmits 'the text message in which the reciprocity similarity is high' with the wire/wireless communications terminal of the opponent client.
