<p>The invention relates to means and methods for maintaining a rain gutter either in an upward, rain- gathering position or in a downward position under the eave, where it can be cleaned with a water jet, and in winter remains protected from sliding sn ow and ice. The gutter is supported by hinged brackets equipped with a magnetic latch th at is closed when the gutter is in the upward position. Transition from the upward to the downward position, or vice versa, is achieved from the ground by means of a hook attached to a pole.</p> |
