The invention relates to a street tree protector having a multiplicity of rotary cover plates arranged with equal spacing along a via hole formed in a protection plate, more particularly to a street tree protector wherein the rotary cover plates arranged with equal spacing along the via hole respectively form an inclined plane slanted at a predetermined angle to be non-protruding in an upward direction when overlaid on one another. In an embodiment of the invention, a protector for street trees comprises: a base frame; a protection plate having a via hole formed at the centre installed in the base frame; and a multiplicity of rotary cover plates, which is mounted on the inner wall of the via hole in a rotatable and partially overlaying arrangement. On the inner wall of the via hole are formed "?"- shaped channels with equal spacing to receive the multiplicity of rotary cover plates, and each of the channels is provided with a latching pin that is formed obliquely to allow the rotary cover plates to be mounted inclinedly at a predetermined angle. A part of the rotary cover plate is an inclined plane to avoid the upward-protrusion as the cover plates are overlaid on one another. Each of the rotary cover plates of the street tree protector has a joining part with an opening to receive the latching pin formed in the "?"- shaped channel. For installation, a rotary cover plate is placed vertically to insert the latching pin into the joining part and then the rotary cover plate is rotated 90 degrees, thus experiencing no separation in the presence of the fixed plane of the "?"- shaped channel. |
