The invention relates to a degassing system for an accumulator, by which means an effective protection from excess gas pressure and outer impurities is obtained for the accumulator, when the degassing system (1) comprises: a) a body (2) comprising a degassing opening (6), b) a rod (8) arranged in the body (2), c) at least one flap mounted rotatably around the rod (8), d) a spring (17) arranged in such a way as to exert a torque on the at least one flap (14), e) and a seal (10) arranged in such a way that the at least one flap (14) lies on the seal (10) in an idle position and closes the degassing opening.
