Disclosed is a non-aqueous electrolyte battery provided with an anode having an operating potential of at least 1.2V (vs. Li/Li+), typified by lithium titanate, wherein the battery maintains low-temperature output characteristics even after being stored at high temperature. A non-aqueous electrolyte battery is provided by applying an additive, typified by tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphate, tris(trimethylsilyl)borate, and tetrakis(trimethylsiloxy)titanium (compound 3), to a non-aqueous electrolyte of which the primary solvent (70% or more by volume) is a chain carbonic acid ester and/or a chain carboxylic ester. Let 100 represent the total volume, included in the non-aqueous solvent constituting the non-aqueous electrolyte, of chain carboxylic esters and carbonic acid esters having no carbon-carbon double bonds; and of the carbonic acid esters having no carbon-carbon double bonds, let a represent the volume of cyclic carbonic acid esters.
