<p>A rotary cutter which can be easily processed and manufactured, which can be produced at low costs, in which cords can be simply and quickly wound, and in which there is no possibility that parts relating to a reel and other constituent parts are lost during replacement of the cords. A rotary cutter for a mower is equipped with cords rotated to cut grass, a reel for housing the cords and paying out the cords while rotating intermittently, a case body for housing the reel, a cover for covering the case body, and a pressing body projecting from the case, axially movable when pressed, and intermittently rotating the reel. The reel and the pressing body are integrated with each other. The reel is provided with radial grooves in which the cords are fitted. The cords are fitted in the grooves and wound around the reel.</p> |
