摘要 An active matrix display device which can be reduced in variation of brightness due to an initial variation and a change over time of a transistor for driving a light emitting element inside a pixel circuit of the display device. The display device includes pixel circuits each of which is equipped with an input circuit into which an input current proportional to a current in the light emitting element can be caused to flow, a measurement circuit, and a gradation voltage supplying circuit. The measurement circuit supplies by time division one or more constant currents to the input circuit of each pixel circuit by a constant current supplying circuit which can supply one or more constant currents to the input of each pixel circuit, and A/D converts the output voltages of the corresponding current supplying circuits. Then, the measurement circuit performs predetermined operations on the A/D-converted data to calculate data about the threshold value and electron mobility of the transistor for driving and stores the data by pixel circuit. The gradation voltage supplying circuit is inputted with gradation representation data inputted into a display device and electron mobility-related data received from the measurement circuit and multiplies them, and adds the threshold value received from the measurement circuit to the multiplication value to generate a voltage for display, and then supplies it to the input of each pixel circuit.
