The device has a support (1) for maintaining a handset of a portable telephone around a head of user. The support is adjusted by slide devices (2, 2') according to morphology (2, 2') of user i.e. right handed or left handed user. The support includes a retaining device formed of buckle layer (3) and hook layer (3') at ends for fixing the handset in a detachable manner. Shape and rigidity of the support maintains the device on a head of the user with the handset fixed to the device.
