An escaping apparatus of a high building is provided to minimize damage of a human and goods by informing peril generation immediately, and to offer excellent structural intensity. An escaping apparatus of a high building includes a housing(10), a variable ladder unit(20), and an automatic door closing unit. The housing comprises a tubular body(11), an upper cover(12), and a lower cover(13). The body is installed at a penetration hole of a balcony floor. Ends of the upper cover and the lower cover are connected to the body, and open an opening hole of the body pivotally. The variable ladder unit includes a plurality of ladder units(21) and a separation preventing unit. The ladder unit has a body(23) having a step hole(23a) and a binding guide(24) on both sides of the body. The ladder units are formed to different size. The separation preventing unit prevents the ladder unit being separated from the other ladder unit. The variable ladder unit is connected with the lower cover of the housing into one body. The automatic door closing unit closes the upper cover automatically when the temperature of the atmosphere is over the constant temperature.
