<p>A cup holder into which a beverage container is easily inserted and taken out, on which the beverage container stably stands vertically upright, and which can be easily manufactured. A cup holder (1) for receiving and holding a cup has a container (4) having a cup receiving section (3) defined by a bottom section (41) and a side wall (42) upstanding from the bottom section. A portion which is not in contact with the side wall forms at least one flexible protrusion (46) protruding inward of the cup receiving section. Further, a portion forming the protrusion of the side wall is formed to have a wall thickness less than the wall thickness of the remaining portions of the side wall. Further, a rib (50) is formed on the outer surface of the side wall so as to extend to the center of the protrusion from the remaining portions the thickness of which is greater than that of the portion which forms the protrusion of the side wall.</p> |
