Provided are molded articles made of a fiber-reinforced material which are lightweight and have superior surface smoothness and mechanical strength, heat-curable resin compositions that are favorably used in the manufacture of said molded articles, and fiber-reinforced molding materials that are used in manufacturing said molded articles and have a superior low-pressure moldability. As a heat-curable resin composition to be used in the fiber-reinforced molding material, that which comprises a heat-curable resin, a hollow filler with packed bulk density of 0.24-0.45 g/cm3, and kaolin clay with packed bulk density of 0.60-1.20 g/cm3 as essential components was used.
