The present invention provides a method for sealing a thermal device, comprising: (a) obtaining a multi-channel thermal device characterized by having at least one alveolar slab comprising: at least two plates separated by a plurality of parallel ribs located along the longitudinal axis of the plates, such that each pair of said ribs defines a channel adapted to enable flow of thermal fluid; each plate comprises broad terminal margins, located transverse to longitudinal axis of the plates; (b) Grinding a portion of said ribs positioned along said broad terminal margin of said plates; and, (c) Coupling said broad terminal margins of the plates together; wherein said coupling said margins of said two plates together enabling said sealing of said multi-channel thermal device; Furthermore said coupling said margin of said two plates together enables (i) fluid communication between said channels; and, (ii) circulation of said fluid.
