A refrigerating apparatus (20) which employs: a refrigerant mixture comprising 70-94 mass% C3HmFn refrigerant represented by molecular formula (1): C3HmFn (wherein m and n each is an integer of 1-5, provided that m+n=6) and having one double bond in the molecular structure and 6-30 mass% HFC refrigerant; a refrigerant mixture comprising the C3HmFn refrigerant and a specific refrigerant, e.g., a hydrocarbon; or a refrigerant mixture comprising 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoro-1-propene and carbon dioxide.
