<p>The invention relates to a drumhead (1), preferably for an electronic percussion instrument, comprising a first layer (40, 90) of an acoustically damping material either made from a rubber or a polymer, at the periphery, the layer being integrated with or connected to a projecting tensioning ring (4), in order to be connectable to a drum frame (73) via a tensioning device (81, 82, 83, 84), wherein the drumhead (1 ) is provided with a second layer (41, 94) connected directly or indirectly, surface to surface, to the first layer (40, 90) thereof, which second layer (41, 94) consists of a vibration material, as well as that all layers are connected to the tensioning ring (4) in order to be clamped to the drum frame (73) by the tensioning device (81, 82, 83, 84). In addition, the invention relates to a method for the manufacture of a drumhead as well as a percussion instrument having such a drumhead mounted.</p> |
