<p>A liquid crystal panel (11) with a built-in sensor comprises plural pixel circuits (1) and plural photosensors (2) which are two-dimensionally arranged in a pixel array (17). An infrared light transmission filter (3) for transmitting infrared light therethrough and blocking visible light is provided in a light incident path to a photosensor (2), and a backlight (15) including a white LED (4) and an infrared LED (5) is provided on the back surface of the liquid crystal panel (11). Thus, reflected light of backlight light including the infrared light can be sensed by the photosensor (2) without being influenced by the visible light, and the touch position can be detected with high precision regardless of display data.</p>
