The wafer box for the transport of solar cell wafers comprises a bottom (1) and guide elements for positioning the solar cell wafers. At the top of the bottom (1), four guide angles (8) having centering webs (10) are provided coaxially to a centric axis (3), wherein the fronts of the centering webs (10) are oriented toward the inserted solar cell wafers. The distance of the fronts of two opposing centering webs (10) corresponds to the width of the solar cell wafer. A stacking wall (12) having a grip opening (13) is provided on each of two opposing sides of the bottom (1), and a supporting bottom (14) is provided, the outside configuration of which is configured such that the supporting bottom (14) is guided at least one the centering webs (10). The bottom (1) has an opening (4) in the centric axis (3), and on a concentric pitch circle (5) at the intersecting points with the diagonals (7) of the bottom (1) it has four breakthroughs (6) for lifting rams for raising the solar cell wafers located on the supporting bottom (14). |
