PRECODING/PREDECODING METHOD AND CORRESPONDING CODEBOOK DESIGN METHOD OF MULTI-INPUT MULTI-OUTPUT SYSTEM

A precoding/predecoding method and corresponding codebook design method of multi-input multi-output system. A receiving part and a transmitting part respectively save the first layer codebook which is obtained by uniform quantizing the multi-input multi-output system space and a set of second layer codebooks which are obtained by farther quantizing the quantization error of the first codebook; the receiving part feeds the index of first layer codebook back to the transmitting part; the transmitting part uses the corresponding multiple second layer codebooks in the different resource unit to process the first layer codebook and obtains a set of new codebooks; the data which are transmitted to each resource unit of receiving part are weighted and transmitted by using the corresponding new codebooks; the receiving part obtains a set of new codebooks in the same manner as the transmitting part and uses the new codebooks to predecode the received data of the corresponding resource unit in the same corresponding manner as the transmitting part. The method makes the quantization error which is appeared due to the limit of the feedback overhead uniform and obtains the diversity usage gain of the codebook.
