The lithium-ion secondary battery of the present invention is equipped with an electrode structure comprising an electrode group, which comprises a strip-shaped laminate or a wound body, which comprises a cathode in which a cathode active substance layer is adhered to a cathode collector, an anode, and a separator; with a cathode collector plate made of aluminum foil; and with an anode collector plate electrically connected to the anode. The cathode has a cathode collector exposure part which protrudes from the anode at one edge of the laminate extending in the lengthwise orientation. After non-corrosive flux containing fluoride is applied to at least either the cathode collector exposure part or the cathode collector plate, the cathode collector plate is soldered to the cathode collector exposure part to electrically connect the cathode collector plate to the cathode.
