Disclosed is a method for disconnecting the general functional module of the hybrid drive train from the energy store-specific module in a hybrid vehicle, especially a parallel hybrid vehicle, comprising a combustion engine, at least one electric machine, and an energy store that is connected to the electric machine. In said method, energy store-independent physical variables are used in the functional module of the hybrid drive train instead of energy store-specific variables.
