<p>A technique for providing a mobile terminal enables prevention of packet loss and communication delay. The technique realizes a mobile terminal capable of packet communication via a communication network with a communication terminal which is the communication party by using a binding cache including information relating to the address of the communication terminal. The mobile terminal includes a measuring means (26) for measuring the time elapsed from the end of the latest communication with a communication terminal to the start of new communication with a communication terminal, a storage means (25) for storing information relating to the effective time of the binding cache, a judging means (27) for judging whether or not the measured elapsed time is over the effective time of the binding cache before the start of communication with the communication terminal, a packet producing means (27) for producing a packet after setting the home address of the communication terminal to the destination address of the packet to be sent if the elapsed time is over the effective time of the binding cache, and a transmitting means (21) for transmitting the produced packet to the communication terminal.</p> |
