<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting apparatus capable of positioning a moving body such as a head with high precision even if a structure such as a frame vibrates, and a vibration controlling apparatus and a vibration controlling method applied thereto. <P>SOLUTION: At least one of heads 35a and 35b moves and then the frame structure 20 vibrates. A vibration detector 38 detects vibrations of the frame structure 20 and outputs detection information (step 101). The detection information is input to the control unit 36. When the detection information represents, for example, an acceleration value, the control unit 36 integrates the acceleration value twice to calculate displacement information (step 102).
