PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic circuit for stabilizing a power supply that is structured so as to be capable of continuing the operation of a microcomputer even if a problem occurs at the side of a communication circuit when a power supply is shared by the microcomputer and the communication circuit, and to provide a unit including the electronic circuit. SOLUTION: The electronic circuit (10) for stabilizing the power supply comprises: a communication section (33) connected to communication buses (40); a regulator (20), which supplies a voltage at least to the communication section; a regulator overheat detection section (21), which detects the overheat of the regulator and outputs a regulator overheat detection signal; and a communication control section (32), which controls the drive or stop of the communication section in response to the regulator overheat detection signal.
