<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip insertable in a mounting hole with small insertion force, and holdable at a predetermined position even when large external force acts thereon in a state fixed to the mounting hole. <P>SOLUTION: This clip includes: a flange portion 16 and a leg portion 20 inserted in the mounting hole. The leg portion 20 includes: a pillar portion; a generally-conical tip portion 23 provided at a distal end of the pillar portion; a rib that extends in an outer-diameter direction from the outer periphery of the pillar portion, and having both its axial ends connected to the flange portion 16 and the tip portion 23; and an elastic engagement piece 30 that extends from a distal end of the rib in a circumferential direction, and engaging with the back side of the mounting hole. Slits 31 are formed at both axial ends of the elastic engagement piece 30. The elastic engagement piece 30 is provided with: a flexural deformation portion 33 that is not connected the flange portion 16 and the tip portion 23 by the slits 31; and a rigid portion 35 that is connected to the flange portion 16 and the tip portion 23, and having a length smaller than that of the flexural deformation portion 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
