<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device prevents a contamination from staying on the surface of a heating roller. <P>SOLUTION: A contact-sliding member parallel to a generatrix of a heating roller is brought into contact with the surface of the heating roller for heating a toner image on a recording material. An inlet space and an outlet space are formed in the upstream and the downstream of the contact area respectively. A cleaning member for cleaning the surface of the heating roller is provided on the downstream side of the contact area, thereby increasing the capability of removing both toner and paper dust that adhere to the surface of the heating roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
