PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser module whose structure is simple and can be made compact and which can have sufficient coupling efficiency, and to provide a laser device. SOLUTION: A semiconductor laser module 1 includes a laser element 3 which is a photonic crystal surface light emitting laser element and an optical fiber 6 whose end surface 8 is exposed at a position opposed to a projection surface 7 as a laser projection surface of the laser element 3.
