PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board disk player, wherein a drive unit is fixed to a chassis and damage of the drive unit and a disk is reduced when the occurrence of vehicle accident or the occurrence of accident is foreseen. SOLUTION: The disk player includes: a drive unit which is provided in a main body of the disk player and includes a turntable rotating a disk medium, and a pickup; a dumper mechanism supporting elastically the drive unit to the main body during play of the disk player; a lock mechanism controlling the drive unit in a lock state or an unlock state with respect to the main body; and a control part which controls the lock mechanism in response to a danger signal generated when a vehicle mounting the disk player collide to an obstruction or when collision to obstruction is foreseen for the main body, and locks the drive unit to the main body.
