PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to transmit a self owned content to a specific receiving terminal which does not have mail software from a transmission terminal with usability as if the user uses E-mail. SOLUTION: The transmission terminal 10 and the receiving terminal 20 are connected to a distribution server 30 via a network 4. The distribution server 10 has a database 36 where an equipment ID for specifying the receiving terminal 20 has been registered, a content storage part 39 for temporarily storing a content transmitted by the transmission terminal 10, and tables 33 and 37 for managing contents by sorting them for each equipment ID of the receiving terminal. When there is a request from the receiving terminal 20, the distribution server 30 refers to the tables 33 and 37 and transmits the content whose transmission destination is the equipment ID of the receiving terminal 20 to the receiving terminal 20.
